It's Sunday! My family has a tradition that every Sunday we have to go and eat lunch on our grandma's house but my family used to live here in my grandma's house so we are the one whose incharge of preparing lunch. My uncle always bought some food to our house for sunday lunch it's like an additional menu for our family because we kinda have a big family right now, my cousin just got married last year and already have a son. I'm always excited to see what my uncle cook for lunch but he cook's at their house not in our house. He cook this different kind of food. The first one is Adobong Pusit or it is a small size squid saute with onion and garlic then add soy sauce for color and add some chili for a little kick. The second one is Ginataang Malunggay I honestly don't know the english word for malunggay but it is not clearly a horseradish, it is cooked with pagi or a small ray/stinging ray for flavor but my uncle add some seeds in it that I forget to ask him what seed is that but I think its the seed of malunggay I'm not sure. One thing is for sure its delicious! The third one is Pancit Canton, it is a simple noodle dish that has many kinds of vegetable and has a chicken breast, chicken liver, my grandma put some chinenese longganisa/sausage for a little sweetness. The fourth one is Suman Lihiya, it is a sticky rice that has been cooked to a certain leaf and just cook it in a steamer until done simple as that. The fifth one is Ginataang Baka/Beef, it is cooked until tender with coconut milk, a lot of chilies so it's really hot but its good....... The sixth one is Prinitong Baluko its actually a different kind of mussel that has a big....not so transparent shell. It is just deep fried with a liquid batter. Its really good to much on and with some rice ofcourse. Ooohhhh.... I'm getting hungry!
I know your not familiar with this dishes. Its all Filipino food but I can tell you one thing this is all so yummy-nes..
So how about you? What's you favorite Sunday Lunch with your family?

XOXO
